A State Government Laboratory, performing high-through testing of water for internal and contract customers. It has its Regional Offices at Ernakulam and Kozhikode. District Offices have been established at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram and Kannur. The Central Laboratory is at Ernakulam and there are laboratories attached to all the field offices.

Requirements

The Lab carries out through processing of samples, for customers. This data needed to be gathered and managed effectively. They already have a LIMS been installed in their Lab but it is now no longer suitable for the new demands. They are suffering from poor performance and limited flexibility – the system was unable to cope with new types of data required by the business to carry out its new services.

Solution

The customer realized that a new LIMS would be needed that would answer the current needs of the Laboratory Process. They approached Kriti to assist with a suitable product.. The implementation of the LIMS was taken as a separate project.
